About the Concussion in Schools Training Course

A concussion is a temporary injury to the brain following a blow or bump to the head. Babies, small children and teenagers are more likely than adults to be affected by a concussion as their brains are still growing and the effects might not show up until adulthood. It is important that those who work with children in sport and education possess an awareness of what to look out for in assessing concussion symptoms and risks.
