Who are Skills for Care?

Skills for Care is a strategic body that looks at development and planning for companies to ensure social care has the right people, skills and support to deliver high-quality care. They worked together with Skills for Health and Health Education England to develop the Care Certificate.

The Care Certificate Training Course
This course covers all 15 standards of the Care Certificate to provide care staff with the skills, knowledge and behaviours to deliver safe and compassionate care.

Skills for Care supports those working in social care by providing guidance and expertise on how employers can get the most out of their people and carry out the quality of care that regulators expect.

Employers in the care sector can identify training providers who provide high-quality services by using this specialised quality mark, which is only given to providers of care skills training who meet Skills for Care's high standards.
