About this Food Safety Awareness Train the Trainer course

On the Food Safety Awareness Train the Trainer training course, learners will be taught the basics of food law, what hazards there are when storing and handling food, the HACCP process from purchase to service, the impacts and results of challenging behaviour, and the personal hygiene standards you must maintain whilst handling and preparing food. It also covers how the premises where food is stored and prepared must be maintained, the methods to properly clean and disinfect the areas, and the equipment used to store and prepare food. Learners will then be able to teach Food Safety Awareness training to other workplace members by learning different teaching methods and learning styles. 

Our Food Safety Awareness Train the Trainer training course is aimed at anyone within the hospitality or catering sectors that wants to be able to teach an in-house Food Safety Level 2 training course to their colleagues. The material is suitable for anyone that handles food such as employees working in schools, colleges, or hospitals as well as fast food outlets, restaurants, hotels, kitchens, bars, cafes, or takeaways.
